Born in 1982, in Monzón in the province of Huesca, Spain. She qualified as a music teacher in the faculty of Musical Education in the University of Zaragoza. She began her studies in the professional school of music “Miguel Fleta” in Monzón, (Huesca), with teachers; Alfons Escué, Pilar Sola, Concepción Pérez y Beatriz Gimeno, where she achieved the highest grades. Currently she is finishing higher studies in the Conservatory of school of music in Salamanca with teachers Mª Ángeles Triana and Javier San Miguel.
Mª Eugenia has extended her studies through different courses of vocal and stylistic improvement with Manuela Soto, Carlos Chausson, David Menéndez, Husan Park, Pedro Lavirgen, Joseba Carril, David Mason, Carlos Mena and Richard Levitt, amongst others. She collaborates within a variety of groups: the Amici Musicae choir, The Academy of Ancienne Music in the university of Salamanca and with The Ensemble XXI, with whom she has recorded three CD`s, The enchanted Forest and Retratos del Mar (portraits of the sea), Secretos de Papel (secrets on paper). In May 2007-she received what was to be her first award “Becas Montserrat Caballé – Bernabé Martí”.
She has played the role of Belinda in Dido & Aeneas and The Fairy Queen by H.Purcell (Mónica Huguett), Morgana in Alcina by Händel (Pilar Montoya), Florilla in Hasta lo insensible adora by A.Literes (Juan Carlos Rivera) and Norina in Don Pasquale by G.Donizetti (Javier Castro). Réquiem of Mozart (Alejandro Posada,) Herminie by Arriaga (Gennady Rozhdestvensky), Dixit Dominus by Haendel (Federico María Sardelli). The tour she undertook with the orchestra of Cadaqués has been eminent, where they interpreted A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Felix Mendelssohn, under the direction of Sir Neville Marriner.
Projects of importance in the future include the recording of a c´d with the group Música Ficta (Raúl Mallavibarrena). A tour of romanzas and zarzuela duets with the orchestra of Cadaqués (Miquel Ortega). Also, an opera with Le grande Chapelle (Albert Recasens)
